Prayer is so deeply important to our work and mission, thank you for your support and prayer. Here are some points:

Give thanks:

  • That the Steps-to-Success coaching and mentoring programme is moving forward and that the links between them and the counselling is working very well with one client.
  • That we have sufficient funds in the bank to pay the March salaries.
  • For the VIP parenting sessions as we have been through a difficult time and the revised structures are working well.
  • Dina Social Skills group – Thanks that a small group has been set up with 6 children from Ealdham School. It will run weekly for 20 weeks facilitated by volunteers.
  • For all the GYFC supporters

For Prayer

  • VIP – Please pray for the team as Sarah Ingram prepares to return to lead the project.
  • Explore – coming out of the Friday evening sessions a number of the boys have asked to explore what faith means. This group will meet on Wednesday evenings.  Please pray for courage, wisdom and protection for Carolyn, Vicky and Steve Gurnett as they lead this study.
  • The Have You Met? Youth Worship event, that God will richly bless the young people  who attend. Thank you for the team.
  • The GYFC Council of Reference – pray for this group after a very successful meeting attended by 14 local ministers. Pray for continued development of the partnerships.
  • Pray for Hinga, a local man, who is just about to start with us as a trainee youth worker funded through the Intermediate Labour Market Scheme for 6 months. Pray that he will settle in quickly and his sporting gifts will be well used.
  • Please pray for the staff team in their many roles.

Thank You
